It's been a few years since a friend asked me to help clean out his parents' house before renovation.
Much to my surprise we found some very old mahogany and ash boards in the attic.
A friend (he was 65 years old at the time) said that he remembers them there when he was a teenager, and judging by the dust deposits, I had no choice but to believe him.
Today, unfortunately, he is no longer with us, but when building this guitar I remembered him thanks to the material used, which comes from that find.
