This lap steel guitar differs from the MD Custom model in that it has a chambered body, not only to reduce weight, but also to add more acoustic vibrations to the overall sound of the instrument.

There are also several improvements, such as a hand rest on the guitar body, or a removable extension that extends the guitar body for more comfortable playing while standing.
